Contemplating life
Originally from Detroit, I moved to Shanghai in 2010 at the start of the Chinese super app wave. I spent my middle and high school years witnessing a widely analogue society transform
into a digital one overnight. Ever since, I've been deeply fascinated how humans adopt technology for their convenience and delight. After moving to Toronto, I continued to observe as new technologies thrived in certain communities and withered in others.
I have experience taking on 0 to 1 projects that deal with a lot of ambiguity. At Slack, I collaborate on complex experimental initiatives that span multiple teams. I specialize in making the most out of a project's determined scope -- honing in on detailed interactions that bring delight.
On any given weekend, you can find me cooking from my collection of cookbooks or trying to pull a perfect espresso shot.
